Can Smoothies Make You Fat?

Drinks
Question from Chef AJ ‘s audience on youtube : Can Smoothies Make You Fat (compared to chewing)?
One of the most disappointing things I have encountered in my efforts to teach optimal nutrition for disease reversal, is hearing plant-based doctors publicly expressing negative opinions about smoothies, weight loss, omega-3s etc. based off of their own untested and untrue theories, rather than saying the truth, “I don’t know anything about smoothies because I have never tested them”.
None of us know everything, and I think the most respectful thing you can do for someone is to say” I don’t know” when you don’t, rather than make up your own hypothesis and teach it like it’s factual. This harms people!
One example I heard today, is a doctor actually saying that the reason our program works is that omega-3s suppress the immune system like corticosteroids, and that the side effect is that it will make you more vulnerable to infections. CRINGE!!
Our clients not only reverse their diseases and become healthy, they find they no longer get the usual colds and flus they used to get, because their immune systems works so well after being on the Goodbye Autoimmune Disease Protocol. That wouldn’t happen with a suppressed immune system.
Alas, doctors are not trained in nutrition, and that lack of training shows itself with these ridiculous theories. I had to apply my experience as a genetic researcher and a medical doctor to truly understand the impact of nutrition on cellular function, cellular repair, and immune function and develop a protocol that optimizes all of these to create the incredible results we have in disease reversal and optimal health. And I never teach theories, only results.
In this video I address another cringy and untrue theory -that green smoothies will spike blood sugar or cause weight gain.
I definitely went off problematic idea here. Enjoy!
